Analýza využitelnosti jednoduchých indikátorů pastevního tlaku zvěře na les pro plánování lovu v honitbách
Rachůnek, Karel
This work deals with the analysis and evaluation of the usability of simple indicators of grazing pressure of game on the forest. The territory in the Zlín region was selected for the elaboration of this bachelor's thesis, specifically the hunting of MS Kyčera. The field survey was performed by the patrol method. Data from control and comparison areas (CCA), transects and artificial cultures were used to assess damage. Eight stands were selected for evaluation. Three main tree species in the area were evaluated, namely beech (Fagus sylvatica), Norway spruce (Picea abies) and white fir (Abies alba). Based on the damage by grazing pressure, the number of ungulates in the given area was evaluated.
Škody zvěří v honitbách Lesů České republiky,s.p., Lesní správa Šternberk
Ellnerová, Hana
This bachelor's thesis deals with game damage that was caused in hunting areas of the Šternberk forest administration. The aim was to verify whether the increased catch is reflected in the area of damage. Using a statistical investigation, I developed a regression analysis of the data, which showed that there is a relationship between hunting and damage. But this addiction has the opposite character than I expected. I thought that with increased hunting, the damage caused by game would decrease. In the case of my investigation, the amount of damage has an increasing tendency despite the increased catch.
Endoparazité daňčí zvěře na Úsovsku
Heinzová, Zuzana
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to record the occurrence of endoparasites in European fallow deer in females, males and young. In 2018, a regulation was issued by the State Veterinary Administration banning the use of antiparasitic drugs for cloven-hoofed game. The measure was intended to prevent the spread of a dangerous disease, namely African swine fever. Previously, antiparasitic drugs against parasitic diseases were commonly treated in my chosen area. Part of my bachelor's thesis was to compare the results before and after the imposed ban. Treatment with antiparasitic drugs is now possible with an exemption, once parasites have been demonstrated in ungulates and under certain conditions.
Aktuální změny v myslivecké legislativě a jejich vyhodnocení z pohledu managementu populací spárkaté zvěře
Tihelka, Petr
Bachelor thesis aims to analyze the influence of change of hunting season of some species ungulates animals according to decree no. 343/2015 Sb. which amended a decree of Ministry of agriculture no. 245/2002 Sb., about hunting season of individual species of animals and about more specific conditions of hunting, as later amended. The main task of thesis was to map the historici development of number of animals, hunting of ungulates animals, development of hunting seasons for each species of ungulates animals and to find out of effectiveness of the decree which set a main objective of improving the performance of the hunting plans and also in crease the number of ungulates animals. I used the data from hunting statistic published by Czech statistical office from 1966 to 2017 for thesis.
Srovnání úrovně druhové diverzity bylinného patra lesů v oboře a mimo oboru (Holedná)
Keclíková, Jarmila
This bachelor thesis examines the influence of fallow deer and mouflon on the vegetation in the Holedná game preserve and compares it with the forest adjacent to the game preserve. The area is located in the South Moravian Region, in western margin of the city of Brno. Thirty areas were divided randomly and phytosociological relevés subsequently recorded on them according to the age of the stands inside the game preserve and outside this territory. When processed, the herb floor was divided into herbs and woody plants with woody seedlings. The differences in floristic composition were compared in both territories in aspects of the layer of tree, shrubs and herbs, the herb layer species number, the diversity indexes and the values of Ellenberg indicators. In the game preserve, a significant differences was found in the coverage of the herb and shrub layer, which was significantly lower than outside the territory. Furthermore, it has been shown that there are more species demanding to light and nutrients in the game reserve than outside the territory. Due to the higher number of animals, nitrophilous plant species dominate in the herb layer of the game preserve, while forest species are more often represented outside the game preserve.
Metoda stanovení struktur početních stavů populací spárkaté zvěře
KROUPA, Robert
The diploma thesis deals with the determination and expansion of numerical structures for Cloven-hoofed game ie. for roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), red deer (Cervus elaphus), fallow deer (Dama dama), sika deer (Cervus nippon), white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus), mouflon (Ovis musimon), chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra) and wild boar (Sus scrofa). The social structures of female game numbers for different sex ratios have been developed and can be used in different types of breeding. Based on the model cases performed, it has been confirmed that, with a limited number of individuals in the population, the number of youngsters and the number of adults decreases in nature at the sex ratio in favor of females due to spontaneous game reduction. As a result, the average age of adults is reduced, and younger years are getting into reproduction. Another negative aspect of this unbalanced sex ratio is the increase in cloven-hoofed game and related damage and intraspecific stress. In addition, for some game reserves, if the sex ratio is increased for males, there are problems of a similar character, which are being overcome by greater losses in heat fights. This creates additional economic damage. Model cases have shown and confirmed that, with a limited number of game and around a balanced gender ratio of 1:1 to about 1.2:1 in favor for males and 1:1.2 in favor for females, there are no problems with population control because it is predictable. Once the gender ratio is wider, basic problems arise and that is poorly breeding. These wider gender ratios are on one side and the other unnatural in nature and therefore carry many problems.
Minerální krmiva pro zvěř a jejich využití v myslivecké praxi
Konečný, Jan
Data analysis was performed based on information about mineral fodder given by the manufacturers of mineral fodder as well as comparison of fodder types for particular kinds of hoofed game. Data were also acquired by questionnaire survey involving questions about characteristics of hunting ground, type, form and mineral fodder carrier, time of laying, system of additional feeding and game management system. In the final part of the survey there were questions considering changes of damage by game in forest and agriculture growth before and after application of mineral fodder.
Biting midges and their patogens
Mračková, Marie ; Votýpka, Jan (advisor) ; Modrý, David (referee)
This thesis deals with biting midges of the genus Culicoides, which are tiny nematoceran insects belonging to the Diptera, and their parasites. Biting midges partake in transmissions of several parasitical organisms of various groups. Most notably, they are the vectors of several pathogenic viruses which might have a serious impact on livestock. However, the thesis deals with detection of parasites belonging to Trypanosomatids and Filarioids related to two independent biting midges collections - from the Czech Republic and from the Central African region. Apart from testing biting midges, there were carried out the tests on the occurrence of the same group of parasites within ruminant hoofed games in the Czech Republic. Our goal was to find out whether the same parasites occur with biting midges and their hosts (hoofed games) and whether biting midges could play a role as vectors. Biting midges are relatively overlooked group of haematophagous insects. Until recently, they had not been paid much attention, which changed with the spread of Bluetongue virus over Europe. This stimulated a widespread monitoring of biting midges in several European countries, including the Czech Republic. This helped to gain a large amount of data about the occurrence of biting midges near livestock. Nevertheless, there is no...
